SANDERS CAN’T STOP REPEATING “MOSTLY FALSE” CLAIM: IF TURNOUT IS HIGH, HE WINS

He’s made the claim at least 70 times since March 1st and almost every time he’s campaigned in New York

Bernie Sanders can’t stop talking about turnout. He has said at least 70 times since March 1st if turnout is high, they will win. It’s in his New York stump speech, making the claim that he can win New York if turnout is high at almost every single rally he’s had in New York.

Not so fast, Bernie. Politifact rated his claim about winning when turnout is high “Mostly False.”

Politifact: Sanders largely off-base in saying he wins when voter turnout is high and loses when it’s low. “…we rate it Mostly False.”
