Tonight, Bernie Sanders claimed, yet again, that he “[does] not have and [does] not want a super PAC.” Not so fast, Senator Sanders. Time previously reported that the Vermont senator has not one, but two super PACs supporting his campaign. Once more, a January report in The New York Times noted that “more super PAC money has been spent so far in express support of Mr. Sanders than for either of his Democratic rivals.”
For a candidate whose campaign platform is the expulsion of big money in politics, he sure has a lot of it.
